Cle Elum On the Net recognizes some of the new or organized youth activites in the area.

The most recent addition to youth oppotunities is the city Skate Park which was developed from the formerly run-down tennis courts adjacent to the Cle Elum City Park and the old swimming pool on Second Street in Cle Elum. The skate facilities a variety of obstacles and challenges for the youth of the area to develop their skating ablilities and hang out with their friends.

A long standing Cle Elum pastime for youth throughout the summer is the Little League Baseball and Softball teams. The teams are sponsored by the generous businesses in the area and occupy many evenings of the area's ballparks.
